Mr. Calvin John Duffy of Youngs Cove passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2010 at the age of 66. He was the son of the late John and Margaret (Snodgrass) Duffy. He is survived by his wife Marie (Moss), two sons Andrew (Roberta) of Fredericton and Jamie (Joni) of Youngs Cove; five grandchildren, his brother Ashley (Peg) of Uxbridge, ON and his sister Connie Ebbett of Fredericton as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Calvin is predeceased by his brother in laws John Ebbett and Tom Moss. He was employed with DOT for over 33 years, he also owned and operated his own businesses, including the Lincoln Product Bar and the Silverwood Irving Convenience.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). In honor of Calvin's wishes, no visitation will be held. A Celebration of Calvin's life will be held from Youngs Cove United Church on Wednesday, April 21st at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Youngs Cove United Church Cemetery.
