It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sylvia M. Park announce her passing on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her common law husband Walter, sons: Gilbert (Tracy), Burlington, ON and Dennis, Brampton, ON; two granddaughters: Traci and Victoria, great-granddaughter Layla, brother John (Margaret), sister Dorothy (Donald) and sister-in-law Emma. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Augustus and Ethel and brother Roy. Friends may visit the Epiphany Anglican Church in McIvers on Friday from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joan Coles officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
