Hector LeBlanc of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook (formerly of Memramcook Lake), husband of the late Louise (Dupuis), passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, April 18, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80. Born on December 15, 1929 in Memramcook Lake, he was the son of the late Philomon LeBlanc and the late Elizabeth Breau. He was a meat cutter for Dupuis Save Easy for many years. He is survived by his special friend Marie-Lucie LeBlanc, one daughter; Yolande (Robert) Gaudet of Memramcook, three sons; Roland (Gisele) of Moncton, Norbert (Linda) and Robert (Francine) both of Memramcook, five sisters; Stella (Georges) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Norma (Edgar) Cormier of St-Marie de Kent, Leda (late Leonard) Cormier, Irene (Aurele) Landry and Annie (Alonzo) Boudreau all of Memramcook, one adoptive brother; Joseph (Angela) LeBlanc of Memramcook; four grandchildren: Renée, Réjean, Justin and Véronique, one great grandchild: Megan, two sisters-in-law; Anna Dupuis and Gladys Dupuis, his special aunt and god mother Philonise Brun and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three sisters; Florine (infant), Anita (2008) and Dorine (2008).
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday, April 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, April 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas de Memramcook RC church, on Wednesday, April 21 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
