It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Heath announces his passing on May 31, 2008 at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; children: Thomas (Toni), Gerald, Joanne (Wilson Hurley), and Elaine Dimopoulos (Bill); 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: Charles (Edna) and George (Marjorie); sisters: Bertha Hussey (Eldon), Rita Kean (Max) and Elsie Plassé; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Best and brother-in-law, Gaeton Plassé. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
