Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, April 17, 2010, Gordon Burden of Carbonear, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents Gordon and Edna Burden; baby brother Arthur. Leaving to mourn wife Elizabeth; daughter Cindy (Gary) McIsaac, Calgary, AB; two sons: Clarence (Renee), St. John's; Scott (Shirley), Carbonear; five grandchildren: Grant (Laura), Corbin, Austin, Kimberley, Kristen; one great-granddaughter Riley; four brothers: Eric, Stephenville, Everett (Sylvia), Mt. Pearl, Hubert (Loretta), Bay Roberts, Walter (Annette), Ontario; three sisters: Vida (Melvin) Clarke, Paradise, Jacqueline (Bill) Kennedy, Mt. Pearl, Hilson (Randy) Leonard, Mt. Pearl; brothers-in-law: Lloyd Flight, Carbonear; Roy Flight, Victoria; sisters-in-law: Hazel (Frank) Thoms, Carbonear; Doreen Burden, Brigus; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
