A Lesson Learned
Her death was tragic and sudden and
It took our breath away
But we know deep down in all our hearts
It was the better way.

The blindfold is removed now and
we see it all so clear
So cherish the ones you love and tell them
Constantly
For we have learned the lesson now
That they may leave us any day.

God gave us all this special Angel
So wipe away your tears
Dry your eyes and open your hearts
To this very precious girl.

She touched us all in a very
Special way
And we will think of her with each passing day
Remembering her smile and beautiful lips
And all the things we will surely miss.

So goodbye Nancy, it's time to let you go
Even though it seems that we were just beginning
To say hello
Life without you will never be the same
But then again
Not knowing you ever would have been
Such a shame
