It is with great sadness that the family of the late William C. Martin announce his passing at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the age of 58 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Dot; four sons: Dean of Ottawa, Daryl (Adriana) of Mississauga, Robert (Kyla) of Winnipeg and Dwayne (Nancy) of Cambridge; one brother, Joe (Ann) Martin of Upper Ferry, Codroy Valley; five grandchildren: Clinton, Chelsea, Kyle, Renée, Nathan and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Ann Martin; sister, Rita White and brother, Gerard Martin. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 1st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Organ Donations and Transplant Association of Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Parkinson’s Association would be greatly appreciated.
