Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, William Joseph Warford, on Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in his 84th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife, Beatrice (nee Davis); his children: Maxine (Doug Loder) of Sop's Arm, Allan (Cathy) of Pollards Point, Founce (Sandy) and Dewitt, both of Toronto, Lyron (Karen) of Pollards Point, Louise (John Jardine) of Toronto, Melton (Dawn) of Pollards Point and Flossie (Fred Brown) of N.S.; his 14 grandchildren and his four great-grandchildren; his sisters: Emily Batstone of Corner Brook and Lillian Palmer of Bonavista; his brothers: Almore (Marie) and George (Rosena), both of Hampden and Edmund (Margaret) of Isle Aux Morts; also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. William was predeceased by his parents: James and Martha Warford; his daughter, Debbie; his brothers: Harry and Nathaniel; his brothers- in-law: Fred Batstone and Reginald Palmer. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Pentecostal Church in Hampden, today, Friday, July 18th, 2008 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., from where also the funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 19th, 2008 at 11 a.m.; Pastors Skinner and Ball officiating.
