RECTOR, Margery Anna - 78, Debert, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday evening, April 23, 2010, in Colchester Regional Hospital. Born August 19, 1931, in Great Village, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Marian (Hayman) Simpson. Margery loved her Yahtzee and bingo games and before becoming ill, she enjoyed going on the mail route with her son, Ross. Margery is survived by her son, Ross (Carol) Rector, Debert; special daughter, Bev Saulnier, Salmon River; sisters, Muriel Stone, Halifax; Hazel Gallant, Sackville; Barb Works, Londonderry Station; several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gervin; step-son, Ronnie; brothers, Chester, Kenny. To honour Margery's wishes, there was private graveside service on Monday, April 26, 2010, in Mahon Cemetery, Great Village, Reverend Dan Gunn officiated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margery's memory to Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation are welcome. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
