BIBLE HILL - Louis James Staples, 84, Bible Hill, passed away peacefully Monday morning, April 26, 2010, in Colchester Regional Hospital. Born March 22, 1926, in Truro, he was a son of the late James and Georgina (McLean) Staples. Louis worked as a fixer at Stanfields for 47 years. Louis is survived by his son, Eldridge, East Mountain; sister, Shirley Pye, Bible Hill; brother Leander (Anne), Onslow Mountain; grandchildren, Michelle Staples (Robert MacCabe), James (Laura) Staples; many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife , Shirley Ines (McNutt); sisters, Leona, Jean, Iola; brother, Daniel. In keeping with Louis' wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations in Louis' memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
