It is with great sadness that the family of the late Yvonne (Bonnie) Toope announces her passing at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, brothers: John Charles (Peggy), Arthur (Alethea) and Reuben (Agnes); sisters: Blanche Wells (Tony), Emma Stratton (Gerald) and Edith Greenland (Steve); and a large number of nieces and nephews. Bonnie will be deeply missed by her large number of friends at North Haven Manor. She was predeceased by her parents, Elsie Maude (Watton) and Henry Charles Toope; brothers: Roy, Alfred and Douglas; and sister, Phyllis Norton. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 10 A.M. – 12 noon from where the memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Mrs. Marilyn Avery officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
