The death of Corinne Mary Elizabeth Murdock RN of Miramichi, NB, occurred at her late residence on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the age of 81. Born in Douglastown, NB, Corinne was the daughter of the late Daniel M. and Anne (Malley) Nolan. Corinne was a retired RN from Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, and from private duty nursing at both Moncton Hospital and the Dr. George Dumont Hospital. She was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, a member of the CWL and Retired Nurses Association. Corinne is survived by four daughters: Connie Cuppen (Jack) of Calgary, AB, Maura Garrett (Gordon) of Courtney, BC, Anne Murdock (Bill Allanach) of Moncton, NB and Kathy MacDonald (Bert) of Chatham, NB; three sons: Dan (Cheryl) of Red Deer, AB; John (Colleen) of Newcastle, NB and Paul (Sherry) of Douglastown, NB; one brother: Pat Nolan of Douglastown, NB; eight grandchildren: Matt, Allison, Rheya, Brady, Melissa, Matthew, Julia and Andrew and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Corinne is predeceased by: father of her children: Bob Murdock; four brothers: Charles (Infant), John, Ernest and Daniel. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Samuel's Roman Catholic Church, Douglastown, on Saturday at 11 AM with Father Walter Lynch officiating. Burial will take place in St. Samuel's Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Corinne's memory a donation may be made to the Extra Mural Program or The Canadian Cancer Society.
