WARREN, Reginald Maxwell– 74, Chester Grant, Lunenburg Co., N.S., died September 22, 2008, at his home. Born in Tack's Beach, Placentia Bay, N.L., he was a son of Malcolm and Pearl (Best) Warren. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy in Newfoundland in 1952 and served as a Steward and achieved the rank of CPO2. In 1984, with over 32 years of service, he retired from the military and moved to Chester Grant into the home he had built. He was a member of Everett Branch 88, Royal Canadian Legion, Chester Basin. Reginald is survived by his wife, Elsie (Whittle); son, James (Janet Jewers), Eastern Passage; granddaughter, Jessica, and grandson, Jared; sisters, Rita (Sonny) Giddens, Minden, La.; Grace (Charles) Royer, Allentown, Pa.; Blanche Graves, Aiken, S.C.; Violet (Barry) Delmage, Sarnia, Ont.; brothers, Chesley (Mary) Warren and David Warren, both of St. John’s, N.L. A Burial Service will be held at St. Michael & All Angels Church, Arnold's Cove, NL on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Newfoundland & Labrador.
