Paul Allain, 81 of Bouctouche, widowed of the late Edith (Cormier) Allain (2008), has passed away peacefully on Friday, April 30th, 2010 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Bouctouche on January 25th, 1929, he was the son of the late Adonnis and the late Marie-Jeanne (Hébert) Allain.
He will be sadly missed by his seven children, Thérèse Bourque (Daniel) of Grande-Digue, Denise Allain (Yvon) of Cocagne, Anita LeBlanc (Paul) of Saint-Joseph de Kent, Diane Daigle (Gerard), Claudette Léger (Paul), Louis-Paul (Linda), Denis all of Bouctouche; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Thérèse Léger (Omer) of Saint-Thomas de Kent; one half sister, Jeannette of Sainte-Anne de Kent, and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one son in infancy, Louis-Paul; four sisters, Jeanne, Anna, Leona, Nélida, and two brothers, Adolphe and Patrick.
Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday, May 3rd, 2010 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Paul's memory donations can be made to the family. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
