It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of Gerard my husband, my soul mate, my best friend on Friday, April 30th in Fredericton at the age of 64. Born in Goose River, PEI, he was the son of the late Francis and Victoria MacPhee (Larkin). He is survived by his wife of seven years Sylvia Mary MacPhee; step children, Dennis of Fredericton, Hubert Jr. (Maxine) of Fredericton, Charlene (Bill) of Fredericton, Neil (Tia) of Ottawa, Annette, Donald (Gabrielle) of Fredericton, Clarissa (Angus) of Fredericton and Corey (Oona) of St. Peters NS. Brothers Art, John (Marie) and David (Gail) all of Fredericton and a sister Sandra of Toronto, 21 step grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Other than his parents Gerard was predeceased by a brother Eddie.
Resting at home 130 Paul Street, Fredericton with visiting on Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 from 2pm and Monday May 3rd. Funeral service will be held at St Anthony's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 4th, at 11:00 AM with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Goose River PEI.
