MacDonald, Gary Wayne - 52, Halifax, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Halifax. Born in Berwick, he was a son of Basil "Bud" and the late Joan (Langille) MacDonald. Gary was employed in the restaurant and food industry for many years and was manager with the Five Fisherman Restaurant in Halifax for the past eight years. He was a wonderful guy who made a lasting impression on everyone he met, very kind and generous and would help anyone who needed a hand. Surviving are his father Bud MacDonald and wife, Myrna (Davis); sister, Shelly MacDonald, Halifax; sister-in-law, Ronda Wallace-MacDonald, Central Onslow; special nephew, Gaven MacDonald. Gary is predeceased by brothers, John and Bruce and mother Joan. There will be no visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Wentworth United Church Cemetery.
