St-Thomas-de-Kent, NB - Elise Goguen, 91, passed away peacefully at the Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 29th, 2010. Born in Shediac, NB on April 24, 1919, Elise was the daughter of the late Clovis and Saraphine (Gautreau) Goguen. Elise is survived by one daughter, Janita Goguen of Grande-Digue; one goddaughter, Janet Rawlinson of St-Thomas; one brother, Albert O'Brien (Eva) of Sudbury, ON; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Goguen (2006); two sisters, Caroline and Lea; and eight brothers, William, Leo, Alfred, Jacob, Aurel, Philippe, Alphonse and Emery.
