Martha J. MacGregor, 92, of 9 Queen St., North Sydney, died suddenly on Monday, May 4th, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, N.S. after a short illness.
Born in Bras d’Or West, she was the daughter of Murdock and Katherine (Ross) MacFarlane of Ron Ferry, N.S. She was a member of Drummond Memorial United Church, Ron Ferry.
Predeceased by husband John K. MacGregor and daughter Maureen Crowdis, sister Murdella MacKenzie. Surviving are daughters Betty (Milo) Varljen, Catherine (Fred) Tesarch of Toronto, and Joan Sutherland of PEI. Also surviving are grandchildren Christine, Michelle, Deborah, Anne Marie, Eric and Jonathan, great grandchildren Natasha, Sam, Ava, and Jack, sisters Mariah Shaw, Fredericton, and Arabel MacKenzie, Ron Ferry, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date with burial at Lakeside Cemetery, N.S.
