The death occurred peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2009, at the Souris Hospital of Doris Young. Wife of the late Clinton Young of Fortune, in her 67th year. Loving mother of Shirley (Brian) Hazelden, Cathy (Ricky) Peters and Christa and special friend Roland Drake. Sadly missed by special friend Raymond Downe. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jasmine, Jocelyn, Dylan, Joshua and Jackson, two great-grandchildren; Riley and Liam. Survived by sisters Georgina, Vivian, Ethel, Lindy and brother Everett. Predeceased by her parents George and Margaret Jackson, brother Harold and sister Lois. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Friday afternoon May 8, 2009, at the Bay Fortune United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Kingsboro Cemetery.
