November 9, 1931 - May 1, 2010

Dad left us to go on to join his family and friends after a short battle with cancer.

He leaves to mourn, his wife Eileen, five daughters: Sheila (Jack Taves) Tegart; Nancy (Rick) Johnson; Kathy (Tom) Swift; Denise (Bruce) White; Gina (Reg) Gœrtzen; two step-sons Kim (Leslie) and Justin (Cynthia); two step-daughters Jaunita (Geno) and Sophie (Russell); 16 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother Happy (Sharon) Tegart and two sisters Allene Anderson and Marion (John) Raugh, as well as numerous extended family members.

Bill was predeceased by his four brothers, Art, Allan, Alfred and Ray and his first wife, Marjorie.

A time of visitation and viewing will be held from 8:00 - 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Nanaimo Curling Club on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 5:30 P.M. Wheelchair accessible.
