Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, in the presence of his loving family, on Sunday, May 3, 2009, Michael Devine of Renews, age 90 years. Predeceased by his wife Gertrude (Oates), son Johnny, parents James and Mary Ann Devine, brothers-in-law: Bob, Bill, John and Tom Oates; sisters-in-law: Cecilia Fennelly and Annie Santangelo. Left with fond and loving memories are his seven children: Donnie (Isabella), Randy (Judi), Madeline (Paul Swain), Michael (Pauline), Marilyn, Dianne (Aidan Costello) and Barry;
eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters: Celine King (Bernard), Sr. Teresa Devine, Presentation Convent and sisters and brother-in-law; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his devoted homecare workers. Remains resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Fermeuse on Tuesday, May 5 and Wednesday, May 6 from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 7, at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Apostles Church, Renews.
