It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alexander Snook announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at the age of 88 years. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law, Ivy Snook of Fort McMurray, Alberta, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Mary Snook; four brothers: George, Jim, John Joe and Henry; three sisters: Elizabeth Woods, Margaret March and Mary Bennett. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Flat Bay. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 8th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Flat Bay, with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Flat Bay. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
