The death of Jane Elizabeth Irvine occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Born in Saint John on May 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Shaw) Irvine. Jane attended Kiersteadville United Church, but for the last ten years was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church in Saint John. She is survived by brothers George (Shirley) Irvine, Walter (Dorothy) Irvine and step-mother Esther Pauline (Steen) Irvine of Vancouver, several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother Joseph, three sisters Helen (Joseph) Kelly, Alice (Isaac) Mullin and Hazel (Fred) Ritchie, (Sydney) Miller.
