It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Jane Ricks announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Thursday, May 6th, 2010, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children - 10 daughters: Hilda, Elsie, Patricia (Doug), Dora (Garfield), Lillian (Frank), Bernice (Leamond), Viola (Wayne), Mary (Leighton), Leah and Poppy (Randy), four sons: Calvin (Lovetta), Winston (Christine), Terry (Kathy) and Alvin; brother, Joseph; sisters: Gladys Blanchard and Beulah Pittman; 51 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren & 15 great-great-grandchildren. Mother was predeceased by her parents, Harriett Mary and Abraham Pittman; sons-in-law, Gordon Head and Eric Ropson; her sister, Dulsie; grandchildren: Kirk, Paul and Steven. She also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the St. Michaels & All Angels Anglican Church in Pollards Point, today, Saturday, May 8th, 2010 from the hours of 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. and on Sunday, May 9th, 2010 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where also the funeral service will take place on Monday, May 10th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.; Rev.
