Anita Marie Morrell, 55, of Pellatt Avenue, New Waterford, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Mary (McEachern) McPhee.
Anita was a member of the Parish of St. Leonard, Mount Carmel Church.
She is survived by her brother, Keith McPhee, New Waterford as well as several cousins.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 9 at 2 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, New Waterford.
