At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Friday, May 7, 2010, of Gertrude Ann McGuigan (nee Daley) of Charlottetown and formerly of Montague and St. Mary's Road, age 67 years. Wife of the late Howlan McGuigan. Loving mother of Kenneth (Lisa), Cornwall, Linda (Michael) Doucette, Johnson's River and Marlene (Darrell) Evans, Cornwall. Loving grandmother of Benjamin and Adam McGuigan, Connor and Emma Doucette and Zachery, Carson and Maren Evans. Dear sister of Pauline (Jim) McCarthy, Ont., Bill (Anita) Daley, Charlottetown, Fabian (Mary) Daley and Louis Daley, Ont. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Frances (nee Creed) Daley, brother Reginald Daley and sister-in-law Joan Daley. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Monday at 10:30 a.m., then to St. Paul's Church, Sturgeon for funeral mass at 11. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation was on Sunday.
