It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Jane Ricks announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Thursday May 6th, 2010 at the age of 88 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; 10 daughters; Hilda, Elsie, Patricia ( Doug ), Dora ( Garfield ), Lillian ( Frank ), Bernice ( leamond ), Viola ( Wayne ), Mary ( Leighton ), Leah, & Poppy ( Randy ), 4 sons; Calvin ( lovetta ), Winston ( Christine ), Terry ( Kathy ), & Alvin. Her brother; Joseph, sisters; Gladys Blanchard, & Beulah Pittman. Her 51 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, & 15 great great grandchildren. mother was predeceased by her husband; Leander, parents; Harriett Mary & Abraham Pittman, son in laws; Gordon Head, & Eric Ropson, her sister; Dulsie, grandchildren; Kirk, Paul, & Steven, also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family & friends from the St. Michaels & All Angels Anglican Church in Pollards Pt, on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9, & on Sunday May 9th, 2010 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, May 10th, 2010 at 2 pm with the Rev: Roberta Woodman officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Pollards Pt.
