Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at her family residence, Mona Campbell, in her 84th year. She is survived by her loving husband Roy of 61 years of marriage; her children: Bernard (Gloria) of Pasadena, Paul (Lynn) of Pinchgut Lake and Susan (Gerry) Wells; her special and devoted sister, Eleanor, both of Deer Lake; three grandchildren: Sonia (Perry) Campbell of Yellowknife, Jason (Lahne) Banfield and Robert Wells, both of Deer Lake; three great-grandchildren: Justin Campbell, Lana Banfield of Deer Lake, Sarah Campbell of Yellowknife; her siblings: Dulcie Parsons of Toronto, Grace (Jabez Critch) of Pasadena, Harold "Smokey" (Rowena), Ward Jr. (Ramona), both of Deer Lake, Ivan (Gareen) of Kitimat BC; her in-laws, Hazel Manuel of Corner Brook, Scott (Daisy) Campbell, Mollie Nichols, Daisy (Tom Laramore), Shirley (Eric Luther), Kenneth Campbell Jr., all of Toronto, Renee Caines of Deer Lake; also her caring and devoted home care workers: Maxine House and Theresa Clarke; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Ward Sr. and Dulcie: brothers: Ralph and Dempsey. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake, today, Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. with Major Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road. Flowers or donations to the Salvation Army Church Organ Fund, in memory of Mona, will be graciously accepted.
