Dorthea Helen Anthony, died at Rocmaura Nursing Home, on May 11, 2010, and has gone on to be in the presence of the Lord. Born in Saint John in 1916, Helen was a daughter of the Late James O. and M. Winnifred Anthony also of Saint John. Helen lived in the city all of her life and worked as a Civil Servant with the Department of Veteran's Affairs. She was member of The Brethern Assembly, Lansdowne Avenue. Helen has been predeceased by six sisters, Lillian Morrisey, Mabel Keirstead, Grace MacVicar, Mary Anthony, Lois Norr and Madge Little, six brothers Nelson, Lloyd, Givan, Milton, Douglas (Helen's twin) and Allan. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) with visiting on Thursday only from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 1 p.m. from Castle "Fallsview Chapel".
