Kenneth Hartley passed away suddenly on May 15th, 2010. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on February 17th, 1942 and raised in Mispec, he was the son of Lawrence Hartley and Kathleen Chandler. Husband of Betty Hartley, married 47 years and was the love of her life. He loved nature, fishing, outdoors and playing crib, especially with his brother Dan. Aside from his wife Betty, Kenneth will be missed by his sons; Richard, Kenny, daughters; Faye (Stephen) and Sandy. Kenneth is also survived by his mother; Kathleen Chandler, brothers; Danny (Donna), Richard (Wendy), sisters, Doris (Joe) Hache, Janet (Donald) Quigly and Cindy (Brian) Foster, 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Tuesday, 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Castle Funeral Home "Fallsview Chapel" with Rev. John Martin officiating. Interment will held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of donors choice or to the family would be appreciated by his family.
