NEW GLASGOW - Hester Wilma MacIntosh, 92 of Dover Ave., New Glasgow, passed away May 17, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Byron and Mamie (Grady) Campbell.
She had been a resident of New Glasgow since 1946 and had been employed at the former Goodman Co. for 25 years. Hester was a member of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Inglis; sister, Ruby (Farley) Inglis, New Glasgow; brother, Byron (Kitty), Easton Mass., USA; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Arthur and Kenneth; step-father, William Sutherland.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in Trinity United Church, New Glasgow, with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Abercrombie Cemetery.
