Gasper, Donald Harvey, 73, of Salmon River, Colchester County, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Peter and Edna (Lockhart) Gasper. Donnie was a gravedigger and care taker of Watson Cemetery Company, on East Prince Street, Truro for 48 years. He was a well known around Truro as a very quiet but hard working man. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his caregiver Jonathan Reddick, his wife Carrie and their children Daryen, Destiney, Dakota. A graveside service will take place today at 1 pm in the Robie Street Cemetery, Truro with Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating.
