Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Friday, May 8, 2009, under the wonderful care of the staff on Pratt Place, Evelyn Badcock. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Badcock. Leaving to mourn are her three children: Carol Cook (Ian), Sharon Pye (Owen) and David; three grandchildren: Craig Cook (fiancee Rachel Alexander), Denise LeDrew (Chris) and Karlee Pike; one great-grandchild, Emily; also leaving to mourn her sister, Edna Dummott and family in England; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Shirley Butt; several nieces and nephews in St. John's and very special, devoted friend of 63 years, Lucie Besso as well as numerous other friends.
