Port au Port East

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Neil Joseph Duffy announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, on Monday, May 24, 2010, at the age of 62 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Eva; son, Jeff (Moya) Duffy of Kippens; daughter, Pamela (Mike) Bennett of Kippens; brother, Jerry (Marie) Duffy of Port au Port East; sister, Mary (Gus) Kelly of Gander; four grandchildren: Avari, Kaenan, Marley and Holly; two sisters-in-law: Zoe Duffy and Betty Duffy and a large circle of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Marguerite Duffy; two brothers: James and Brian Duffy; sister, Maureen Duffy; granddaughter, Kayah Duffy. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 9-10 a.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, May 28th at 10:30 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East, with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Maria Regina Parish Memorial Fund or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville.
