Charles Peters
We, the family of the late Charles Peters, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many relatives, friends and neighbors for their wonderful kindness and support during our difficult loss. To the wonderful doctors and nurses at both the QEII Health Centre in Halifax as well as the New Waterford Hospital and Cape Breton Regional, VON, thank you for taking care of Charlie during his brief illness. For the beautiful funeral mass, thank you Father Doug MacDonald. To CWL for the beautiful lunch. To the Choir, Howie MacDonald and Doug MacPhee for the beautiful tunes - I'm sure Charlie was smiling down on us enjoying every note. To the readers, Mora McLean, godchild and Connie Morrison, cousin, Eucharistic ministers and the offertory servers - granddaughters Lindsey and Jillian Locke and Jenifer Peters, to the pallbearers, cousins Fred Peters and Edmond Ormond, close friend Earl MacIntosh, son-in-law Michael Locke and grandsons Steven and Riley Peters, thank you so much. we will never forget all the words of comfort, those who sent food, cards, monetary gifts, flowers, memorial donations, people who traveled from out of town/province, and those who came to visit us at home. Thanks to everyone who patiently waited in line at his wake - it was overwhelming to see so many pay tribute.
