(1929 - 2010) - Richibouctou - At the Moncton Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Sunday, May 23rd, 2010, at the age of 81, passed away Bertha Doiron, wife of Éloi Doiron. She was living in Richibouctou, formerly of Acadieville. Born on January 30th, 1929, she was the daughter of late Jean-Baptiste Gallant and late Eveline Robichaud. Besides her husband, she is survived by her three daughters: Dévita (Maurice Babineau) Blacquière from Richibouctou Village, Jeannita (Daniel) Cormier from Rexton, Lisa (Alfred) Bernard from Acadieville; three sons: Omer (Louise) from Rogersville, Clorice (Lise) from Acadieville, Léo (Noëlla) from Rogersville; six sisters: Semida (feu Jos) Johnson from Richibouctou, Alice (Vincent Maillet) Richard from Bouctouche, Anna (François) Daigle from St-Ignace, Marie-Louise (Norman) Landry from Shédiac, Rita (Ben) Pellerin from Oshawa, Yvonnice (feu Paul) Daigle from Rexton; four brothers: Léo-Paul (Léonice) from Bédec, Joséphat (Antoinette) from St-Ignace, Dolphée (Linda) from St-Louis, François (Hélène) from Long Lac, Ont.; two sisters-in-law: Lucie and Julienne; one son-in-law: Fernand Blacquière; as well as 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister: Eva; one brother: Arthur; as well as two grandchildren: Tony and Jessica.
The family will be receiving visitors at 'La Colombe', 11325 route 126 in Rogersville. The funeral service will be held at the Immacullée-Conception church in Acadieville, on Friday, May 28th, at 11am. Visiting hours: This Thursday May 27th from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm, and Friday, from 9:30 until the departure for the funeral service. A donation to the I.-W.-K Hospital or to the palliative care in Georges-L-Dumont Hospital would be appreciated.
