It is with great sorrow the family of the late Ethel Ruby (Searle) Snow announce her passing at the age of 86 years on May 8, 2009 at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island. Predeceased by her husband William in 1994 and her brother Raymond in March, 2009. Leaving to mourn with fond and treasured memories her sons Raymond (Mary), Boyd (Madeline) and Wayne (Anne); grandchildren Ruby (Barry), Marilyn (Darren), Ray Jr. (Debbie), Kimberly (Greg), Wanda, Jennifer (Vincent) and Wayne Jr.; six great-grandchildren; her life-long friend Marguerite Martin and a large circle of family and friends. Ruby was a very strong and courageous lady and will be sadly missed. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation on Sunday, May 10 and Monday, May 11 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from the United Church, Bell Island on Tuesday, May 12 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Bell Island. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Anglican Parish of Bell Island Church Building Fund.
