Frances Iva Gladys Howard, 86, Central Onslow, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
Born in Onslow, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Lilly (Pallett) Wilson.
Frances was truly a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who dedicated her life to the care and well-being of her family. Surviving are daughters Barbara (Ian) Sinclair, Toronto, Ont., Marlene (Geordie) Hill, Central Onslow, Dianne (Gordon) Little, Bible Hill and Sheilah MacLean, Winnipeg, Man.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, George, Lower Sackville; sister in-law, Dorothy Simpson; brother in-law, Vernie Howard; many nieces and nephews.
Frances is predeceased by her husband Ensworth; sister, May Ross; brothers, Crawford and Maynard.
No visitation by request. A service to celebrate Frances’ life will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 13 in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating.
