JULIEN, Linda Ann - 62, Millbrook, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at home, surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Sandy Julien, Captain of the Grand Council, Millbrook, and the late Martha (Francis) Julien. Linda worked for the Millbrook Band Council for 27 years. She was a member of the Millbrook Women's Club and St. Anne's Pilgrimage. During her lifetime, Linda was a foster mother to many children who were in need. She enjoyed traveling, Bingo and life in full. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunty to her family. Those who visited her always left with a happy heart. She is survived by son, Lorne, Millbrook; daughters, Jileen (Warren Brooks), Melinda (Jesse Augustine), both of Millbrook; grandchildren, Alisha, Jordan, Faith, Joey, Sienna Sipu, Warren Jij; sisters, Angeline Paul, Millbrook; Janet Bernard (Woody Ellsworth), Millbrook; brothers, Joe B. Marshall (Maryann), Eskasoni; Joseph Julien, Millbrook; Keith R. Julien (Theresa), Millbrook; Derrick Stephens, Millbrook; several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, Martha; Linda was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Carol; nephew, Shawn Paul; sister-in-law, Laverne Julien. Visitation will take place on Thursday after 2 p.m. at Linda's home, at 793 Willow Street, Truro. Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Millbrook, with Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Millbrook.
