Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Saturday May 29, 2010 with her daughters by her side of Mary Eleanor Fraser, beloved wife of the late B. Stewart Fraser of 203 Poplar St., Alberton in her 74 year. Born in Alberton on June 6 1936, she was the daughter of the late Heber and Muriel (nee Clark) Ramsay. Cherished mother to Lynne Maxwell and Susan Hendricken. Loving grandmother to Jeffery Maxwell (Avra), Steven, Maxwell, Scott Maxwell, Annie Herdricken and Emily Hendricken. Dear sister to Anna (Errison) MacLeod. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred (Bert) MacKenzie, Vie (Late Keir) Fraser, Reg (Vinnie) Fraser, Charlie (Elaine) Fraser, Roy (Ruby) Fraser and June (Fred) Hamill. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. Visiting hours Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A celebration of Eleanor's life will be held on Tuesday June 1st, from the Gordon Memorial United Church Alberton at 3 p.m. Rev. Sue Paterson officiating. A private family interment to take place at Hillcrest Cemetery.
