The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, N.S., on Sunday, May 10, 2009, of Mrs. Evelyn May Younker of 501 Queen St., Charlottetown, age 81 years. Mother of Linda Allen of Charlottetown. Grandmother of Bethany (Trevor) Harding, Jennifer Doyle and Sean Allen and great-grandmother of D’Arcy Lynn and Colby. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Judy (Hughie) Farrow, her sisters, Edna (Harman) Black and Hilda Stead, her sisters-in-law, Josie Hickox and Helen MacLeod and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude, and her son, Dale. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home for visiting hours on Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Wednesday with funeral service from Central Christian Church, Charlottetown at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Brookfield Cemetery.
