Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 after a short illness with cancer, Eileen Mary Murray, age 78 years. Predeceased by her husband William; brothers James and Jack Mallard. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her four sons: Wayne, William Jr. (Gail), Paul, and Brian (Joanne); daughter Brenda Power (Vincent); seven grandchildren: Jason, Billy, Melissa, Scott, Wayne, Adam and Samantha; two step grandchildren: Chris and Shawn; three great-grandchildren: Emilee, Savannah and Parker; brothers: Gerald (Violet) of Ontario, Patrick (Betty) of Ontario, Cyril (Alice), David (Barbara) of Ontario, and Edward (Rita); sisters: Margaret of Ontario, Joan, Mary of Ohio, Maureen of Virginia and Barbara of New Brunswick; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre and Dr. Randy Hart. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday May 10th and Monday, May 11th. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday May 12th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
