It is with great sadness that the family of the late Glenn Burton announce his passing on Thursday, May 7th,2009 at the age of 57 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Louise (nee Francis), his son Shannon of St. John's, his daughter Lisa of Deer Lake, two special grandchildren, Jasmine and Charlie. Two brothers, Charlie (Donna) , and Dean (Cindy) both of Corner Brook, three sisters Helen (Wilf) Penney of Clarenville, Diane (Jeryl) Alexander and Judy (Ross Fudge) of Corner Brook. His mother-in-law Beatrice Francis of Deer Lake. Also a large circle of neices, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Louise, father-in-law Stanley Francis. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake on Sunday 7-9 pm, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Church with Major Oxford officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road.
