(July 26, 1926 - May 10, 2009). Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 10th, 2009, surrounded by his loving family, Clyde Higdon of New Harbour, aged 82 years. He leaves to mourn, with precious memories; his loving wife and best friend of 59 1/2 years, Geraldine, and his seven children, four sons and three daughters; Nelson, Claude (Dianne), Curtis, Jeff (Margie), Ruby (Bruce), Bernice, Karen (Drew), as well as 13 grandchildren; Aaron, Amy, Mark, Bradley, Nicole, Jeffrey, Matthew, Peggy, Dana, Joey, Brooklyn, Lucas and Alex, and five great-grandchildren; Jodi-Ann, Jayda, Chloe, Austin and Teaghan. He will also be lovingly remembered by many friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Monday, May 11th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 12th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, TBS Corps on Wednesday, May 13th, at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
