Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Austin (1996), her parents William and Susan Knox and her sister Joan Byrne (2003). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories of our Mom are her children: Carol Ann (Bill Farrell), Paul (Linda) and Dave (Marion) with whom she resided; grandchildren: Stephen Manson, Londa Farrell, Kerri Lynn Innes, Michael Innes and Christopher Innes; sister Phyllis Farkas, Ohio; brother Kevin Knox (Helen), Winnipeg, who were also at her side during her final days; brother-in-law Pat Byrne; cousins: Betty Bransfield and Gert Puszewski, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of close friends. Special thanks to Dr. Pat O’Shea for her long term home care, to Dr. Berman and Dr. Higgins and the nursing staff from St. Clare’s 7 West. Also to Dr. Eaton and the nursing staff at the Palliative Care Unit and to Father Slattery for visitation and prayers with the family. Extra special thanks to her sister-in-law Helen Knox for the nursing help and support she provided during this trying time. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Mt.
