In her 86th year after an extended period of failing health Elizabeth (Beth) Frances Hossack died at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 2, 2010, in the presence of her loving family. Born in Williamsburg, NB on February 28, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Raymond A. Pringle Sr. and Lila (McKay) Pringle. Besides her parents Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Vaughn, a daughter Dawn and brothers Ernie and Robert. She is survived by three sons Laurie (Glenda) of Rothesay, Gregory (Karen) of Grand Bay-Westfield and John (Pam) of Cambridge-Narrows, NB; brothers, Gilbert (Margaret) of Dartmouth, NS; Raymond A. Pringle of Stanley, NB; grandchildren Travis, Neil, Craig, Stephanie, Shelley, Jill and Lori; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Beth was a member of St. Matthews Presbyterian Kirk, Kings Valley Wesleyan Church and more recently while living at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home and attended church services there and at Grace Presbyterian Church, 101 Coburg St, Saint John. She was a member of the Woman's Missionary Society (Presbyterian Church). A long serving volunteer for the Hospital Auxiliary serving both at the Saint John General and later the Saint John Regional Hospital and enjoyed her many friendships through her church and Auxiliary.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church, 101 Coburg St. on Saturday at 11 am. A reception will follow the service and interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
