BELLIS, Betty passed away after a long battle with Lupus. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Charles; her sister Rosemary (Frank) Jeffries of QLD, Australia; nephews John of UK, Neil of NSW; Mark and Keith of AB and niece Ann of QLD. Betty was the eldest daughter of the late Stan and Ruby Harrison. She was born in Gwersyllt, N Wales where she received her education and secretarial training. She served in WWII in the WAAF RAF Bomber Command Signals. In Prince Albert she worked for Frank Moore Architect, PA School Board and Land Titles office until illness forced her retirement. She took art classes for 2 years and took joy in gardening and all the wonders of nature. She will be sadly missed. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Lupus Research, Royal University Hospital. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
