It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of our son, Michael Roy Baldwin of Fredericton who passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 2, 2010 at the age of 17. He is survived by his Mom, Sue (Irvine) Baldwin and Owen Dickie and his Dad, Nick Baldwin and Una Thorne; two brothers; Nicholas and Geoffrey all of Fredericton; his maternal grandparents: Bev and Dianne Irvine of Cardigan and Muriel and Don Murphy of Minto; his paternal grandmother, Jessie Baldwin of Berwick, NB; his uncles: Rick Irvine (Sandra) of Bolivia, John (Beverley) of Chrysler, ON., Curtis (Diane) of Quispamsis and Steve (Barb) of Sussex; his aunts: Ann Baldwin (Wes Hartt) of Saint John and Margaret Baldwin of Campbellton; as well as several cousins; he is also survived by his loving caregivers: Heidi Mott and Ann and Chris Savage, as well as his many friends and his teacher's assistants. Michael is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Nick who passed away in November 24, 1984 and by his aunt, MaryEllen (Tobin) Baldwin who passed away in June 2, 1996 and his maternal great grandparents, Roy and Carrie Lunney. He was a member of Leo Hayes High School in Fredericton and St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held from at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 603 Union St. Fredericton North, NB on Friday, June 4th from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00am with a time of fellowship with the family to follow.
