It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Richard Huette, on Monday, May 11, 2009, at home.
Born in Sydney, March 21, 1945, he was the son of the late Raymond and Margaret (Campbell) Huette.
Richard was employed with Joneljim Construction for the past 30 years, where he was a member of Labourers Union 1115, retiring in 2008. He maintained the reputation as a hard worker throughout his life.
He will be sadly missed by his family and all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Richard is survived by his wife, Catherine (Gillis); two sons, Ricky (Jeannie), Sydney Forks, and Mark, Sydney; three sisters, Charlotte (Bob Oxby), Ontario, Ellen (Robert Chiasson), Sydney, and Valerie (Mike MacKeigan), Sydney; a brother, Darryl (Lorna), Sydney. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Kayla and Kendal; sister-in-law, Sylvia Huette (late Raymond); step-uncles, John and Archie (Patricia); and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Raymond and a granddaughter, Kira.
A private family service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
