As a result of an automobile accident in Cape Tormetine, N.B., on May 11, 2009, of Kariya Bryton Zachary Ty Bernard of Lennox Island, aged 14. Born in Summerside on Dec. 4, 1994, beloved son of Councellor Stephen Bernard II (Kim Guimond) of Lennox Island and Kathy Levi of Elsipogtag, N.B. Loving brother of Stephen Bernard Jr. III (Megan), William Bernard (Hillary), Cheyanne Francis (Sarah), and Keana Levi. Cherished nephew of numerous aunts and uncles. Predeceased by his grandparents, Stephen and Marina Bernard, William Levi, Cousin Jeremy, Aunt Barbara, and Uncle PeeWee. Resting at Ferguson’s Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday until 10 a.m., then to St. Ann’s Church, Lennox Island, for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Society or St. Ann’s Church Building Fund.
